This can easily be misunderstood as you are nothing more than your epilepsy. On the contrary, my message is what did my experiences with epilepsy bring out of me; with each battle my armor thickened. I speak up comfortably about my experiences with the condition disclosure is not my fear.
For others the battles may have gone a different way. Some warriors might have less resilience and each episode really takes a toll. Overtime the accumulated toll catches up leaving a warrior in a very vulnerable position. When living in such a state, quality of life can change for the worst.
