More often than not a warrior doesn’t always find the right treatment that will eliminate their seizures. Instead, only some are blessed to find the right formula for better functionality in life. We are the ones having the seizure, not the one that read the book about it. Since I am the one experiencing the seizures, I have no problem speaking my mind on it freely, I dare someone to call me out on my seizures. I’m doing all I can to keep a cap on the epilepsy and it’s just not working.

Rather than trying to candy coat things saying people are still doctors and lawyers even though they have epilepsy, which is 100% true, that is very case by case. They have to be fully functional in order to do it. Working full-time required a good control over their epilepsy, that is not my case.

Ever too often there’s a resource out there available that it’s quite hard for a warrior to get a hold of. Frustrating when the professional does not validate what you claim. Apparently the neurologist thinks I can still work even though I got a knot and I look like a unicorn for a week. Not for nothing, its hard to be a successful insurance agent with a black eye from a hard fall, but supposedly I’m fine. So I should be pursuing my degree, and make gainful living? I’ve been trying in more ways than one; it has not exactly been a breeze. I’m just saying…
