There’s all types of stigma tied to epilepsy, and one of those ignorant assumptions is that things are exaggerated. Questioning whether living with epilepsy is really that bad. I once vented in return hear “we’re all going through something” or “don’t use epilepsy as a crutch”. I’m currently a determined warrior, unemployed, myoclonics daily. I’m not saying I am a slacker justified by having epilepsy, instead I’m saying I have explored many avenues and thus far all were detoured by my epilepsy.
